What Is a RADIESSE®?

RADIESSE® is a biostimulatory dermal filler that uses calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel to provide immediate volume and stimulate the body’s natural collagen production for long-lasting results. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse offers a dual-action effect: immediate plumping and long-term skin rejuvenation by encouraging collagen and elastin production

Radiesse Treatment Frequently Asked Questions

Your appointment will be for approximately 1 hour.

Radiesse is injected under the skin with cannula in a quick procedure that can be done over the lunch hour.

Common side effects of Radiesse or Radiesse (+) include bruising, redness, swelling, pain, and itching at the site of injection

The natural-looking results last a year or more in many patients

While patients should feel minimal to no pain during or after the procedure.

Immediately upon injection, Radiesse helps smooth out lines and wrinkles.

You will need to remove all your makeup and cleanse the area before the procedure. Avoiding blood-thinning medicine like aspirin is recommended to reduce the risk of bruising.
